CBO Working Group
Community-based organizations (CBOs) and their local expertise, will serve as a catalyst for individual grassroots participation by underserved communities served by the City of San Diego.
The CBO Working Group is an ongoing partnership with community-based organizations (CBO) in San Diego from July 2024 to April 2025. The goal of this collaborative effort is to effectively engage with organizations representing communities — especially those most underserved or vulnerable — to understand their engagement and solid waste collection preferences and to maximize the reach of our outreach efforts in support of this Cost of Service Study.
The active participation of CBOs in this process, and their local expertise, will serve as a catalyst for individual grassroots participation by underserved communities served by the City of San Diego. The CBO Working Group is a closed group by invitation only.
Schedule
The CBO Working Group meets monthly, virtually, on the second Thursday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m.
